The very popular Kriser's all-natural pet food and supplies emporium opens its first Colorado outlet this weekend. Brad Kriser, founder and CEO, will be a guest on our Sunday, April 22nd program.
Kriser's has already won a legion of fans for its seven Chicago-area stores and two Southern California branches. The chain aims to grab a large slice of the $51 billion annual pet food and supplies industry. Two additional Colorado stores are slated to open later this year.
B. Unconventional co-host Dean Rotbart was on hand earlier in the week to participate in a pre-opening fete that Brad hosted at the store, located at 4910 S. Yosemite Street in Greenwood Village. A number of future customers were on hand - or more accurately 'on paw' (along with their owners).
Dean was impressed by the store's clean, colorful, organized presentation and friendly staff. Alexandra Dameron, who'll manage the store, exudes warmth. And Brad notes, all of his staff are well-versed in pet health and nutrition. "Don't be surprised if we learn the pet's name before yours," he warns.
Kriser's core selling point is that 100% of its pet foods and treats are all-natural. Moreover, they are free from common pet food ingredients such as corn, wheat, soy and other byproducts. As for their pricing, Kriser's products are competitive with the so-called "big box" national pet food chain stores.
Read Dean's full profile of Kriser's, which appears as part of his column in the Denver edition of Examiner.com. As Dean writes, "tails throughout the Mile High City are wagging in anticipation" of the new Kriser's.
