Two recent guests on B. Unconventional are aiming to get enough votes to move past the first round of competition in pursuit of a $250,000 small business grant.

In contention for a “Mission: Small Business” grant, underwritten by Chase and Living Social, are recent B. Unconventional guests Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie and I Believe in Me.
To move forward, both companies must receive 250 “votes” as soon as possible.
Pampered Passions Fine Lingerie, based in Centennial, Colorado, is owned by Alicia Vargo. Alicia has been a guest on our program several times since the beginning of the year. She stands out for her retailing savvy and her charitable work on behalf of breast cancer survivors.
Also competing to be one of a dozen finalists is I Believe in Me, owned by Sue Lee, a guest on our June 17th edition. Based in Castle Rock, Colorado, I Believe in Me is creating a series of products aimed at equipping preschool age children with the necessary life skills to build character, confidence and awareness.
While the national competition for the"Mission: Small Business" grants is fierce, both Alicia and Sue stand a good chance of winning one of the dozen $250,000 grants.
